What they shared

Anita Endacott: Oh! Definitely not part of the team. We have just had such a head time with a little girl who has learning difficulties (auditory processing & working memory) Her confidence has been so low and she wouldn't even let us help her she was so afraid just not being able to do this. She agreed to try this, we started her at age 4/5 years o that we could work out what she knew and build confidence. She discovered that when given the thinking time, she can actually work out how to do this. She was 9 yesterday and as just hit 9.2year with her learning. We have only been at this about a month! I don't think that she will ever find maths easy, unlike her younger sister but this is giving us a great platform to develop understanding, she lacks the ability to be creative with number because I think she's been so confused by too much information and not had the ability to keep up so that work can be consolidated. The program is great because you can look over their work, see where they are stuck and work through it on screen. There are some great exercises to help you consolidate learning. I don't normally review things but when lock down happened and we were backed into a corner and had to do something off of our own backs, I went hunting for something that I thought she could access. This has been a fantastic help for us and I wanted to say if you are like us, it's worth trying. Just to say we have a 5 year old who is a maths whizz and she's done this for 2 weeks and hit 7.5 years. I think it covers everyone right from the word go! Hope that helps
