Summary

Christina* (not her real name) has an unidentified learning disability that causes short term memory loss. Difficulties remembering short term information made learning mathematics at homeschool difficult until she started using Elephant Learning as a supplement.  

1.) Challenges

For Christina, math time always meant tears. Low self-esteem due to her disability made learning even harder. She was held back twice in 1st grade and continued to move slowly through middle school. Even though Christina was an 8th grader, she was still at a 3rd-grade level.  Her mom made the choice to homeschool her instead to help her catch up with extra attention and tutoring happening twice a week.
