Quality Assurance Team Lead

‍Overview

In the QA Team Lead role, you will be responsible for running the team that ensures that no software defects are seen by customers. You will lead a team of up to 6 quality assurance engineers to accomplish this goal.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Coach team members to meeting individual and team goals
• Responsible for creation, documenting, maintaining, and execution regression tests
• Coach team on effective methods of communicating software defects to team
• Coach team on effective methods of executing test cases, effective strategies and methodologies of software testing
• Accomplish test goals by holding team accountable to performance metrics
• Develop and documentation of testing procedures, defining quality metrics, test strategies, test results
• Execution of test cases, implementation and execution of testing methodologies
• Mentor junior and other engineers in best practices for QA, documentation of test cases and documentation of defects
• Track defects and helps troubleshoot errors
• Review test procedures and develop testing scripts
• Partner with engineers and upper management to drive QA efforts
• Manage QA team projects according to deadlines

Necessary Skills

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester and Team Lead/Supervisor
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with regression testing
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills

Pay: Minimum Pay For Colorado Based Roles: $83,700 per year + performance based bonus
